Different Types Of Sensors Used In Industry Automation

Nowadays, every business is employing high-end tools and technology to upgrade their business. One such tool is a sensor that is being used in industrial automation. In industry automation sensors are used to make the products intellectual and automatic. Industrial IoT Wireless Sensors are specifically designed to work in harsh industrial conditions. These sensors help to detect measure, analyze, and process various transformations. Using the sensors it is easy and fast to measure and monitor different environmental parameters like humidity, pressure, heat, temperature, and many more.

There are various types of sensors used in automation are:

Temperature sensors: A temperature sensor is a device that gathers information regarding temperature from a source and changes it to a form that can be easily understood by other devices. Using these sensors one can monitor and measure the temperature of a medium. Digital temperature sensors, humidity sensors, and temperature sensors are some main sensors used in industrial applications.

Pressure sensors – A pressure sensor is a device that apprehends pressure and converts it to an electric signal where the quantity depends on the amount of pressure applied. Turned parts of a pressure sensor and Vacuum sensor are some of the main pressure sensors used in industrial automation.

MEMS Sensors – (Micro-electro-mechanical systems) – The MEMS sensor converts mechanical signals into an electrical signals. Acceleration sensors and Motion MEMS are some of the important sensors used in industrial applications.

Torque sensors – It is a device used for torque measurement that converts input mechanical signals into an electrical signal. Rotating torque and torque transducers are a few main types of sensors employed in industries.

UbiBot is one of the leading companies manufacturing many wireless vibration sensors and other types of sensors. The sensors synchronize with the UbiBot IOT Platform and users can access the data from any corner of the world using a Smartphone and a Web.
